Roy Thomas Willis, 85, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Friday, August 1, 2025.
He was born September 16, 1939, in Lincoln Township, Somerset, Pennsylvania to John R. Willis, Jr. and Mary June (Yoder) Willis. On May 24, 1972, Roy married Doris Irene Hardy in Painesville, Ohio and together they shared over 52 years of love and marriage before her passing on February 11, 2025.
Roy was a self-employed electrician and in his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, painting, riding motorcycles and being with friends and family.
He is survived by his sons, Frank (Alicia) Willis and Mike (Jen) Willis; grandchildren, Jill, Jamie, David, Michael (Ashton), Ryan (Emily), Abby, Seth, Adilyn and Bentley; sister, Elaine (Gary) Osterwick.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Irene (Hardy) Willis; daughter, Joanne Bell; parents John R. and Mary June (Yoder) Willis; paternal grandparents, Jon R. and Mary E. Willis; maternal grandparents, Russell S. and Luella Yoder; brother, Teddy Willis.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
Roy will be laid to rest with his wife Doris at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services of Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
