Ryan Thad Ruland, 49, of Helena, Ohio passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home.
The son of Ron and Rheta (Miller) Ruland, he was born March 11, 1971 in Youngstown, Ohio. Ryan loved to play his guitar and write and sing – you can find his music on – brucewayneTwitch and SickPat on YouTube.
Ryan is survived by his loving family in his hometown of Austinburg, OH - parents, Ron and Rheta (Miller) Ruland and brother, Rem Ruland and his girlfriend Amber. Other family members include his nephew, Ben Wright of North Royalton, OH; Uncle Bill and cousins in Mechanicsburg, PA; Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Leanna and cousins in Santa Barbara, CA; dear friends, Cynthia Hodgkinson, Don Smith, and Jodi Dubsky and family all of Ashtabula and many, many friends. He is also survived by his loving family in Helena, Ohio – girlfriend, Kim Knois and her daughter Charlotte Dunfee and her daughter-in-law, Jolene Brant and her son-in-law, Corey Lynch. He is also survived by his loving pets, Duby Cocoa and Crackhead.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Robyn Wright in 2013.
A private family service was held Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Service, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, OH. A memorial contribution towards Ryan's cremation services was made by a loving family member (who wished to remain anonymous), Ryan's parents Rheta & Ron are forever grateful.
