Sally Patricia (Buckholdt) Daughters, age 88, of Madison, passed away peacefully on July 8th with her son Dana by her side at Metro Health Hospital. Sally left behind a beautiful rainbow as she passed away that her children saw as they left the hospital. She was born on December 15, 1932 to parents Lila Edna (Bunnell) Buckholdt and Clarence Frederick Buckholdt in Willoughby, OH., at their family home on the dining room table. Sally married (the late) Charles F. Daughters on November 22, 1952, and they were married for 63 years until Charles went to be with his savior in 2016. Along with her husband, Sally owned and operated Daughters Dairy Isle in Wooster for four years and she also opened the very first custard stand in Wooster. She later went on to start Daughter's Florist in Madison and operated the business for over 40 years. Sally is a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison. She is survived by her loving children; Charles F. (Kathy) Daughters, Debora L. (Rick) Fitch, Dana L. (Diane) Daughters, and Sandra L. Daughters; adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sally is preceded in death by her son; David Clarence Daughters, her parents, and her siblings; Jim McArthur, Bob McArthur, Virginia Marquard, and Joanne Plohr. Family and friends will be received on Friday July 16th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church from 10:00am-11:00am, 3050 McMackin Rd., Madison, OH., with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00am at the church. Pastor Steve Berndt and Pastor Mark Luecke will be officiating. A private family burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
