Sandra "Sandy" Christine Scott, age 44, of Willowick, OH. (Formerly of Mentor and Madison), passed away on May 16th, 2023, at her home. Sandy was born March 9th, 1979, in Painesville, OH., to parents Edward "Skip" Oravetz and Mary "Gail" Dickerson. Sandy attended both Madison schools and Mentor where she graduated from. She then went on to work and worked for as a Manager for Cheap Tobacco in Ashtabula for many years. Sandy loved her two daughters Rya and Ava, and had a passion for animals, especially her beloved cat Lexi. Her favorite color was purple, as a young girl she loved to twirl baton and went on to play the flute in her high school band. Sandy is survived by her cherished daughters, Rya and Ava Scott, her parents, Edward "Skip" Oravetz and Mary "Gail" Dickerson and her Stepmom, Sheryl Swanson.
She is also survived by her siblings, Cheryl A. Cook, Shane (Leah) Oravetz, Hayley (Steven) Mollmann and John Paul (Jessica) Kilroy, and nephews, Arthur, Julian, and Elliot. Sandy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank & Ana Oravetz and Amos & Georgia Dickerson and brother, Edward A. Oravetz Jr, and her uncle, Ronald Oravetz. A Graveside Burial will be planned in the near future for Sandy at Mentor Municipal Cemetery, in Mentor, OH.
