Sharon Mitchell, age 60, of Mentor, Ohio passed away January 18, 2022, at Tri-Point Hospital surrounded by her family. Sharon was born on September 11, 1961, in Merritt Island, Florida to William Kosarko and Jo Ann Knox. Sharon was raised by her adoptive mother Jennifer Thiel (Kosarko).
Sharon married her husband Richard (Rick) Mitchell, at the gazebo in Willoughby, Ohio, on May 26, 2001. She loved swimming at the local YMCA, relaxing at the beach and pedicures with her daughters. Sharon has spent the last 3 years taking care of her beloved husband.
She is survived by her husband Rick; Children, Brooke Miller (Boyd), Chelsea Smith, Jeromy Smith and Rick Mitchell JR; Grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Nicholas Rose, and Noah Miller; Parents, Jo Ann Knox, Jennifer Thiel (Kosarko); Siblings, Jeanette Jones, Scott (Carol) Kosarko, Michael (Olinda) Knox, Melissa (Jeff) Lingel, Celina Kosarko, Brian (Angela) Kosarko. She is preceded in death by her father William Paul Kosarko. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date this spring.
