Sheila Marie (Gentry) Clute, 59, of Orwell, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026, with her daughters by her side.
Sheila was born on September 27, 1966, in Warren, OH, to Luther and Irene (Toppings) Gentry. She was a graduate of Grand Valley High School and carried with her a strong sense of family, kindness, and simple joys throughout her life.
Sheila found happiness in life’s quiet moments. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors, often enjoying nature with a cup of coffee in hand. She had a special fondness for ice cream, something that always brought a smile to her face. Her sarcastic sense of humor, warm spirit and appreciation for the little things will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Bonnee Rendon of Temecula, CA; Jillee (Brian) Whitacre of Andover, OH, and Anngee Clute of Williamsfield, OH. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Decklin, Estella, Domonic, and Lorenzo.
Sheila is also survived by her siblings, Randy (Lisa) Gentry of Andover, OH, and Joseph (Tiffany) Gentry of Cowpens, SC, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her life partner, Michael Grinaldi; her parents, Luther and Irene Gentry; her grandparents, Luther and Ina Gentry; and her brother, Jeffrey Gentry.
A memorial celebration of Sheila’s life will be held on Sunday, June 7th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wayne Community Center, 3280 U.S. Route 322, Williamsfield, OH 44093.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Eagle Pointe Nursing Home and Reserve Care Hospice (Formerly Hospice of the Western Reserve) for their compassionate care and support during Sheila’s final days.
Sheila will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle heart, and the comfort she brought to those around her.
