Shirley "Ciss" Hejduk, age 73, of Willoughby, OH passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Willoughby Post Acute.
She was born in Cleveland, OH on August 26, 1952, to the late Eugene and Shirlee (Hrnyak) Hejduk.
For 40 years, Shirley bartended at multiple locations in the neighborhood she grew up in while also sewing for the family upholstery business. She also played softball, ran track and from a young age was a lover of animals, always bringing one home.
Shirley is survived by her brothers, Eugen Hejduk, Jr., Thomas Hejduk, Paul (Donna) Hejduk and Alan Hejduk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Shirlee (Hrnyak) Hejduk and "many fur babies."
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd, Wickliffe, OH 44092.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to all the Willoughby Post Acute staff that spoiled and took great care of Shirely.
