Sibylla Serana Eisenhauer Linden self-written obituary
A private Going Away/Gone Open House party will be held on May 18, 2024, to celebrate the fun-filled life of Sibylla Serana Eisenhauer Linden. Sibylla became a different part of the world on Friday, March 22, 2024, and sincerely regrets having to leave her family and friends.
Sibylla loved the harmony of her name, although many people used her nick-name, and referred to her as "Sibby." Sibylla specifically requested that the accompanying photo of her wearing her infamous signature (groucho) nose glasses be included in her/this self-written obituary. She also requested that those attending her Going/Gone Away party, wear groucho nose-glasses (which will be available for you).
Sibylla was born in Paterson, N.J. on December 28, 1944. She graduated from Ridgewood High School, and then through scholarships and many jobs, earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Bethany College, Bethany, West Virginia, and then her M.S. from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, after which she enrolled in a number of post-graduate classes. Sibylla began her professional career with secondary teaching and tutoring, as well as serving as a college level Instructor with Garfield Senior College, and career counselor at Lake Erie College. However, the bulk of her career was spent in a wide variety of professional positions in the field of developmental disabilities. The majority of her career was with G.T. Management where she was the Chief Operating Officer for a number of years.
Sibylla leaves her love to her deceased husband of 52 years, James, and to her daughters, Taylir Linden-Washlock, and Trista Linden-Warren, to her grandchildren Dilan Warren, Autumn Warren, and Easton Washlock, her sister, Melissa Hanham and her brother Glenn Eisenhauer, as well as to her children's spouses, David Washlock and Michael Warren. Family members who left the world before Sibylla include her husband, James; her mother, Charlotte; her father, Frances; her step-father, Melville; her sister, Sherry; her sister, Letty Lou, her niece, Letty Lynn; and a brother Victor.
Sibylla loved to spend time with her family, laugh and be silly, travel, read, and learn.
In lieu of flowers, Sibylla requested that donations be made to your favorite charity. If you do not have a "favorite," Sibylla suggested the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. If you feel compelled to give flowers, please just pick them yourself, but she would rather have a few balloons!
Love XO ♥️
