Steven Krause

Steven Krause, 70, of Kingsville, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He was born on May 16, 1954, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Leona and Raymond Krause.

Steven was a graduate of Edgewood Senior High School and ITT Tech School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He worked for ITT out of Tennessee; he was an owner-operator over-the-road truck driver for many years. He also worked at Carlisle Industries and Taylor Lumber before retiring.

In retirement, Steven enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family. He especially cherished his grandchildren (they were his world) and the time he spent with his loved ones.

Steven will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Betty; his children, Josh and Tiffany Krause; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Preston Krause; his mother, Leona; his brothers, Paul and Dennis Krause; his sister, Karen Butts; and his grandchildren and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Krause; his brothers, Robert and Raymond Krause; and in laws, Ruth and Arthur Marshand.

Steven will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on November 14, 2026, from 1-3pm at Ash Craft, 5959 Green Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
