Susan A. Walk

Susan A. Walk, age 74, of Eastlake, Ohio peacefully passed in the care of Hospice at Hillcrest Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Susan was a caring and wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor. Loved by all that were blessed to have her in their life. Susan loved her dog, Lola, caring for her plants, gardening and spending time with her family, friends, and very wonderful neighbors. Susan was most known for her sense of humor and her very deep concern always for the feelings and wellbeing of the people she loved and who loved her well above her own. She will always be remembered for unselfishness, throughout her life and even into her last hours. Susan laughed, loved, prayed and even sang to uplift family, friends, and neighbors who were able to visit her in her last days. She was a true testament to selfless love. She found faith and prayed with joy in her heart in her last 10 days with us. We were all truly blessed to know and have been loved by her.

A special “Thank You” to the Cleveland Clinic C.C.U. staff and the Hospice and Palliative Care team at Hillcrest Hospital who cared for and comforted Susan before and during her peaceful, painless passing from this world to the next.

A Celebration of Life for Susan will be announced at a later date.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)

5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
