Suzanne L. Ryan, 81, a resident of Madison, passed away on March 23, 2026, following a short illness. She was born on August 16, 1944, in Euclid, Ohio. She is the daughter of Helen and Chalmers Bailey. Suzanne graduated from Madison High School. She lived in Tucson, Arizona, for a few years in the mid-1990s and often spoke about how much she loved Arizona.
Suzanne was most recently employed by the Rabbit Run Community Arts Association as the Box Office Manager at Rabbit Run Theater. In this position, which she held for 20 years, she was known to people all over NE Ohio who attended Rabbit Run Theater. Suzanne was well loved by the theater patrons for her kindness and her efforts to be helpful to all.
Suzanne was a nature lover and knowledgeable about the environment. She loved to spend time near Lake Erie. She was an animal lover and an artist.
Suzanne is survived by a daughter, Terrie Ferguson of Florida; her sister, Mimi Johnston of Geneva; brother John Misch, of Geneva; grandchildren Fred Rebhun, of Virginia, and Danielle Rebhun of Michigan; nieces Yvonne Ebling, Shannon Jackson, Rachel Johnston, Marianna Johnston and Sarah Bacon; great-nieces Acacia Johnston and Sarah Ebling; great-nephew Josh Ebling; family friend, Jami Ellis; cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Misch and Billy Misch.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 4pm-6pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041.
