Theodore Edward Cornelius (Ted), 80, of Conneaut, Ohio passed away at his family home on Monday, July 28, 2025.
He was born May 6, 1945, in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late William and Olive Cornelius and graduated from Ashtabula High School. After high school, he served 8 years in the Ohio National Guard.
On June 26, 1971, Ted married Mary Parker and together they shared over 54 years of love and memories.
Ted loved camping and kayaking, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and his cat Lizzy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Cornelius; son Theodore Cornelius II and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Chase Cornelius and Anthony Cornelius; brothers, William Cornelius, Jr. and Jerry Cornelius.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, William and Olive Cornelius.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
