Thomas Anthony Gozelinchick, Sr.

Thomas Anthony Gozelinchick, Sr., age 82, of Painesville, Ohio passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on August 12, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, Thomas was the son of the late Frank and Wanda (Woznicki) Gozelinchick. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard from December 7, 1965 to June 7, 1971 before being honorably discharged.
On November 13, 1978, he married the love of his life, Janet Croaning, and together they shared more than 47 loving years together.
Thomas worked as a machinist foreman in the hydraulic products industry for over 35 years and worked part-time at Advanced Auto Parts for 11 years. In his free time, he enjoyed car mechanics, NASCAR Racing, and was a big Ohio State and Browns fan. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Gozelinchick; children, Frank Thomas, Jennifer & Patrick Jesberger, Beverly Pettrey & Scott Meyer, Frank, Jr & Lisa Dengel, Amy & Manuel Britnell, and Tommy & Amy (deceased) Gozelinchick; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Gulich.
Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Gozelinchick; parents, Frank and Wanda (Woznicki) Gozelinchick; daughter-in-law, Amy Gozelinchick.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026, from 6-9pm at Erie Side Church on the Boulevard, 221 East 320th Street, Willowick, OH, 44095, from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
