Thomas "Tom" John Wortman, 64, of Geneva, Ohio passed away December 13, 2024, Rae-Ann Geneva.
He was born November 3, 1960, in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Sarah and Daniel Wortman.
Tom had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed riding his bike, walking the beach searching for beach glass, fishing, and sight-seeing. He also enjoyed sports. Tom spent a lot of his time in his earlier years in the boxing ring, he also loved golfing and bowling. Boxing was a passion of his and he loved to tell stories about the matches he competed in.
He was also tech savvy and loved computers, he worked as a network technician for Navy Finance Center and LTV Steel. He was a member of the Lutheran faith having been baptized at Bethany Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his children, Meriba D. Wagner, Michael T. Wagner and Michelle M. Wagner; grandchildren, Amarion Ballenger, Michael Wagner Jr. and Oliver Brown; sister, Amy Bragg-Wortman.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Daniel Wortman; siblings, Larry Whitacre and Daniel Wortman; grandparents Pearl and Arlo Salo; great-aunt, Lempi Fasula.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff at Rae-Ann Geneva, UH Geneva Medical Center, and Sincere Hospice.
