Timothy "Tim" Plummer, age 80 of Kirtland passed away on March 13, 2025. He was born on 12/26/1944 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Tim was the beloved husband of Kathie Plummer for 17 years.  Loving father of Gretchen Sullivan, Timothy "Tim" Plummer, Jr., Amy (Matt) Preuer, Ryan Rebol and Sara (Steve) Newton. Adored grandfather of Alex, Mason, Gage, Sydnie, Tatem, Colson, Maizee, Jace, Tyler Hailey and Kat.

Tim was a skilled machinist. He learned everything he could from his dad in his father's machine shop. This passion turned into a life long career.  Back in glory days, Tim spent unlimited time racing cars and motorcycles at Thompson Drag Raceway.

He loved jumping in the car with his wife Kathie, ready for their one tank trips.  Tim spent his mornings at the Mentor Mall with his walking buddies enjoying a Gloria Jean cup of coffee, while people watching. He loved watching old Westerns, keeping his mind young with word search puzzles and sitting on the couch with his fury best friend Kasey.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Melverna; his son, Jimmy and his brothers, Ted and Terry.

A private burial will be held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
