William Godfrey Carroll, Jr., 74, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home.
He was born February 7, 1948 in Massachusetts to William G. Carroll, Sr. and Inez Carroll. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he honorably served in the US Marine Corps from 1968-1971. On March 17, 1974 he married Patricia A. Carroll, and together they shared 29 years of love and memories until her passing on April 24, 2003.
William was a member of the VFW and American Legion, where he had many friends. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughters, Debra L. (Jon) Toth and Victoria L. (Martin) Escareno; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen Carroll and Ronald Carroll; companion of 15 years, Jane White.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Carroll.
