William "Bill" Wardlaw Pae, 76, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born on April 9, 1949, in Ohio, to parents Mary Wardlaw and William Pae and attended college at Kent State University. Bill married Vicky Palinkas in 1992 (divorced) and spent many years together with Sharon before her passing. He worked as a Certified Welder at Perry Power Plant (C1) for 35 years. Bill was an avid Cleveland and OSU sports fan, loved softball and bowling, he was a youth baseball coach, and played on pool and dart leagues. He is survived by his sons, Joe (Bailey) Pae, Cory Palinkas, Chris (Lisa) Palinkas, and Nick (Sierra) Pae; and grandchildren, Avery Pae, Annie Pae, Gaven Pae, Milo Pae, Margo Pae, Theo Pae, Felix Palinkas, Issaiah Palinkas, Shawn Palinkas, Ava Palinkas, and Mya Palinkas. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents, Mary and William Pae; and sister, Metta Angione. The family will be having a celebration of Bill's life on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 5-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
