William R. "Bill" Hubler, 66, of Jefferson, Ohio, following complications from a stroke, entered his eternal heavenly home on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born as the youngest of four children to Myron and Sarah Hubler, Bill lived a life marked by generosity, integrity, and steadfast faith.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Akron and went on to hold positions with Goodyear Aerospace, Doosan, Packard Electric, Drake Manufacturing, and Agape School / WCVJ 90.9 FM. Throughout his career, he was known for his sharp mind, strong work ethic, and willingness to serve others. He also gave of his time through service on numerous church and community boards, leaving a meaningful impact on the people and places around him.
Above all else, Bill cherished his personal relationship with Jesus Christ and deeply valued his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Bonnie; his children and their spouses: Benjamin and Katelyn Hubler, Elizabeth and Philip Holden, and Jonathan and Dani Hubler; and his beloved grandchildren: Harper, Avery, and Chase Holden, and Sadie Hubler. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of a new baby Holden, a joy he held close to his heart.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake; one of his favorite places to explore and enjoy with friends and family. All are welcome.
A private inurnment service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bill's honor to Teen Challenge of Greater Cleveland, Inc.
